July 1981 - College sanctioned by the Govt. of Kerala.

Aug 1981 - University of Kerala approved the affiliation of
the college.

Sept. 1981 - Third and Fourth Groups of Pre Degree classes
started in the Parish Hall of Arakulam Puthenpally.
Rev. Dr. Thomas V.
Kalarickal CMI appointed as the first Principal of the college.

Nov. 1981 - Formal Inauguration of the college and laying the
foundation stone for the college.

June 1982 - Classes shifted to the new building.

August 1982 - First and Second groups of the Pre-Degree class
