The Department of Malayalam organized a talk on ' Valarnnuyarnna Malayalikal' ( Flourished and Established Keralites) on 2 November 2020 in connection with Kerala Day, the 64th anniversary of the formation of Kerala State, for the first year degree students. The renowned speaker for the same was Rev. Fr. Augustine Mlavarayil CMI, the Administrator and Lecturer in Mathematics, Marygiri College, Koothatukulam.
